Although the official language is Setswana, English is widely spoken and understood.
Currency & Credit Cards
Pula is accepted everywhere, most lodges also accept US$ or Euros. When paying with credit card, always first ask what options are available, although VISA and MasterCard are usually accepted .
When to travel
Although this is an all year destination, the dry season (April to August) is without a doubt the best time to experience and explore this country!
Visa Requirements
Usually, when the stay is less than 90 days, Europeans do not require a Visa, only a passport which is valid for 6 months after the departure date.
